We recommend bringing sunscreen, a hat, comfortable footwear and warmer clothing for the evenings. If you’re camping, make sure you’re prepared for a non-powered campsite.

The Mt Garnet Races are run by the Mt Garnet Turf Club, which has its own event information, race details and updates.

Yes. Numbers are limited, so we recommend getting in early and purchasing your tickets online.

Sunday Day Passes can be purchased online or at the gate on the day.

Your Weekend Pass includes camping and entry to all events across the weekend, including the races, rodeo, cabarets and more.

Children 12–17 years: $10
Children 11 years & under: Free

Do not purchase tickets from people offering them for sale through Facebook or other unofficial channels. If you see a suspicious ticket-selling post, we recommend reporting and blocking the account.

Weekend tickets should only be purchased through the official TryBooking links provided on our website.

Refunds only. Ticket name changes are not available.

Rodeo competitors receive free entry to the rodeo only.

A competitor list will be available at the front gate. If you are attending for the entire weekend, you will need to pay the remaining balance for a Weekend Pass. Competitors arriving on Sunday receive free rodeo entry.

Friends, family members and companions travelling with competitors must purchase their own Weekend or Day Pass.

Yes. An ATM will be available on site, but it gets a good workout over the weekend, so we recommend bringing some cash with you as well.

Cash and EFTPOS are available at the gate for Sunday Day Pass purchases.

Yes. Food and beverages will be available throughout the weekend at each venue.

Yes! Mt Garnet Rodeo merchandise will be available to purchase at the rodeo, including shirts, caps and coolers.

Parking is available around the event grounds. We recommend arriving with plenty of time, particularly during the busiest periods of the weekend.

All rodeo competitors receive free entry to the rodeo only.

A Competitor list will be at the front gate. If you are here for the weekend, you WILL have to pay the balance of a weekend pass. If you arrive on Sunday, you receive free entry.

All other friends, family & companions who travel with competitors MUST purchase a weekend or day pass for our rodeo.

There’ll be plenty of action in the arena throughout rodeo weekend, with competitors travelling from across the region and beyond to take part.
